The National Master Plan for Strengthening Existing Buildings in the Face of an Earthquake, TAMA/NMP 38 is intended to enable the reinforcement of buildings that do not meet the requirements of the Standard for the durability of structures in earthquakes.
This national master plan permits building permits, buildings and building additions.
The National Outline Plan for Strengthening Buildings was prepared at the initiative of the National Planning and Building Council by a large team of planners and consultants. The plan was approved by the Government of Israel in 2005 and since then has undergone a number of significant updates.
The program's meaning is to strengthen the building, internal and external upgrading, the tenants are improving the quality of life and improving the property at no cost.
Who is eligible?
Buildings constructed pursuant to a building permit issued prior to January 1, 1980 and determined by an engineer not built according to Israeli Standard 413 are entitled to be included in this National Master Plan – NMP 38.

 

Most of the rights to upgrade Tama/NMP 38 in your building


1) Increase the apartment area up to 25 square meters including Mamad (safe room)
2) Add a sun terrace about 12 square meters
3) Replace the shutters in all the apartments
4) Strengthening the building to withstand earthquakes
5) Renovation and design of the entrance lobby
6) Adding a high quality elevator
7) Upgrading the stairway
8) Renewal of building facades
9) Replacement of water, electricity and gas infrastructure
10) Development and design of the shared garden by landscape architect
11) Arranging parking spaces

  

The Company will bear all the costs of the project, including the existing governmental and municipal fees, taxes and levies (such as betterment tax, betterment tax, etc.)

The company will finance the cost of representation of the tenants' attorney, handing over the apartments within 18-24 months from the beginning of construction.
